CONNECTIVITY

Intelligent connectivity for industrial machines

Connected by design.

At STM Products, we believe innovation shouldn’t stop at the individual machine. A connected machine is the starting point for building a more integrated, more accessible, and more efficient system. That’s why we develop connectivity solutions built directly into the architecture of our machines, designed to adapt to facilities and infrastructures of any scale, from small production environments to the most complex, automated industrial systems.
Our technologies communicate, collect data, and integrate with the customer’s digital ecosystem. In an open, flexible, and reliable way. Because connectivity isn’t the end goal. It’s the tool for gaining more control, more insight, and more value from your processes.
Discover our Future Ready approach: an architecture designed to connect machines, make data available, and unlock new integration possibilities today and tomorrow.
Connectivity is not the destination. It’s the starting point.

An infrastructure built to last, designed to evolve

At STM Products, we have always believed in the potential of connectivity. That’s why we’ve created something that goes beyond the individual product: an electronic architecture that integrates industrial machine connectivity natively.
We continue to invest in developing this infrastructure to deliver solutions that are up to date, scalable, and capable of generating lasting value.

Our architecture stems from the Future Ready philosophy: discover our approach to electronic design.

Control and Water speak the same language. A single technology ecosystem makes it possible to integrate data, manage alarms, monitor machines, and update software remotely — through a shared architecture.
The advantage of native integration is straightforward: connectivity grows alongside the system, without having to start over every time a machine, device, or facility changes.

THREE SOLUTIONS FOR EVERY
NEED, INFINITE POSSIBILITIES

Every facility has different requirements. Existing systems, proprietary infrastructures, varying levels of automation, and specific goals all call for different approaches.

That’s why STM Products offers three complementary integration modes, designed to fit different architectures and business models.
You can start with a single machine, bring multiple devices on board, or connect your entire system to your management software.

One solution doesn’t rule out another: the STM architecture is built to grow with your project.

STM-CLOUD

OUR PROPRIETARY SYSTEM

Accessible via web browser and Android and iOS app, it automatically recognises connected devices and brings together data, diagnostics, alarms, and management tools in a single interface.
With STM-Cloud you can:
  • Manage access with customised multi-level accounts, up to 3 profiles
  • Ricevere notifiche di allarme via e-mail e app
  • Organise machines by facility to streamline maintenance and support
  • Monitor system data, including serial number, software version, and UUID
  • View telemetry data: machine status, phase, cycle times and parameters
  • Access diagnostics and alarm history
  • Review cycle data and stored, logged programmes
  • Perform backups and download/upload parameters and programmes
  • Start cycles manually or automatically
  • Update software remotely
A complete solution for those who want control, analysis, and optimisation in a single, intuitive interface.

MODBUS TCP/IP

The universal standard

One of the most widely adopted technologies in industry, for those who need maximum compatibility with existing systems. The Modbus TCP/IP protocol is an open channel designed for fast, straightforward integration of machines into more complex facilities. This technology enables real-time process monitoring, improving operational management and control.
With Modbus TCP/IP you can:
  • Interconnect systems through an open, standard protocol
  • Work with a clear, intuitive Modbus register list
  • Integrate machines even in facilities based on proprietary or closed systems
  • Communicate over a local network or remotely
  • Monitor telemetry data: machine status, phase, cycle times and parameters
  • Access diagnostics and alarm history
  • Start cycles manually or automatically
The ideal choice for those who need interoperability and fast implementation.

API SYSTEM

integration without limits

When connectivity needs to become a fully embedded part of the customer’s digital ecosystem, the API System takes integration to the next level. It is a hybrid system that uses the STM-Cloud infrastructure to communicate with MES, ERP, management software, and supervisory systems making platform data and functions available directly within the customer’s digital architecture.
With the API System you can:
  • Access the full range of data available on the STM-Cloud platform
  • Integrate machines with MES, ERP, management software, and supervisory system
  • Connect infrastructures based on proprietary or closed systems
  • Monitor system data, including serial number, software version, and UUID
  • Retrieve telemetry data: machine status, phase, cycle times and parameters
  • Access diagnostics and alarm history
  • Review cycle data and stored, logged programmes
  • Perform backups and download/upload parameters and programmes
  • Start cycles manually or automatically
For those who don’t just want to connect a machine but embed it into their digital ecosystem.

Tailored connectivity. An ecosystem that evolves and delivers uncompromising performance.

STM-Cloud, Modbus TCP/IP, and the API System are three connection modes, all three available on a single hardware architecture, built to evolve.
Open, scalable, and continuously updated, our technology doesn’t just connect a machine: it builds an ecosystem capable of integrating with existing infrastructures and adapting to future requirements.
For us, connecting means making data accessible, turning it into actionable insights, and creating new possibilities for control, integration, and optimisation.
Where there is data, we create value.
This is our approach at STM Products: designing today the connectivity that enables machines to evolve tomorrow and supports your business.
